Hawaiian music has always been a true love and passion for the Sfarzo family, inspiring them to compose songs that capture the spirit and beauty of the islands—even while creating from the mainland. Their first Hawaiian composition, written in the 1980s, was recorded by the renowned Loyal Garner, marking a meaningful milestone in their musical journey.
Over the years, the Sfarzos have continued to write and record many more Hawaiian songs, each reflecting their deep appreciation for the culture and sound.

Mr. Sfarzo will serve as one of the featured pianists in the legendary Big 4 Restaurant Lounge, one of San Francisco’s most historic and distinguished dining and entertainment venues. Known for its intimate ambiance and rich legacy of hosting prominent figures from politics, business, and the arts, the Big 4 provides the perfect setting for Sfarzo’s refined musicianship and timeless repertoire. With an incredible talent for playing the piano, keyboards, organ, and accordion, his musical skills have made him a sought-after performer, arranger, bandleader, recording artist, producer, and composer in the Bay Area music scene.
He has written and arranged music for various projects, including television commercials, documentaries, and films. His work is characterized by a unique blend of which showcases his diverse musical background. Ron Sfarzo has worked and performed with some of the most renowned artists in the music industry, including Paul Shaffer, The Smothers Brothers, Clint Eastwood, George Shearing, Merv Griffin, Conan O’Brien, Tom Scott, Gregg Fields, Daniel de los Reyes, and Jim Belushi.
His studio credits include recordings for major motion picture soundtracks, such as the Tommy Lee Jones film In the Electric Mist, and he is a former member of the prestigious George Lucas Skywalker Orchestra.

Ron and Maryann met through music and have been performing together for over 25 years. Their journey began in San Francisco, and their collaboration has since taken them across the United States, into Canada, and throughout Europe, delighting audiences. . .

In 2005, with the encouragement of television producer Al Burton—co-producer of The Facts of Life and The Jeffersons—and educator and host of Good Morning San Mateo, John Draper, Ron and Maryann developed their cabaret show Sundays and Show Tunes. The show later evolved into “Broadway Music and Love Songs – The All-American Songbook.”
Audiences are treated to timeless classics from legendary composers such as Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Richard Rodgers, and Rodgers & Hart, and more—songs that celebrate romance, humor, and the enduring beauty of American music.
As original artists, Ron (the composer) and Maryann (the lyricist) draw inspiration from real-life experiences to craft their unique sound. Their son Chris, a talented percussionist, frequently joins them on stage and contributes as a lyricist on several of their original compositions.
